I understands that no two people are the same or experience life in the same way. That’s why I make it my mission to tailor each counseling session to the individual in order to find emotional and relational wellness. No matter your background, identity, or ailments, I can offer you services to help you grow into the person you want to be.

 

From the first session, I’ll strive to build a relationship with you through maintaining a professional, homey and safe environment. As trust grows and I get to know you better, we will assess the current hurdles and ongoing hardships you face.

While examining your hardships, I will guide you through an in-depth analysis of your emotions, behaviors, thought patterns, troubling memories, and relationship dynamics.

As you grow, your understanding of your inner working and outer dynamics, you and I will set realistic and attainable goals to guide you back to mental wellness and maximize your life’s potential.

What are the benefits of Individual Counseling?

Individual Counseling allows you to take control of your inner self, rather than letting it control you. Through mastering your emotional functioning and learning healthy coping strategies, you will lead a more rich and fulfilling life.

How long does it take Individual Counseling to be effective?

Sessions are typically 50 minutes long and happen on a weekly or twice-weekly basis. The number of sessions varies from person to person but ultimately depends on the needs of the client.

Are Individual Counseling sessions confidential?

I highly value your privacy. For this reason, I have assured compliance with HIPAA standards. You have full control over who can and cannot receive information regarding your sessions.

What insurance can I use for Individual Counseling?

I am not in network with any insurance companies.  However, it has been my experience that the major PPOs will pay 70-80% of the cost of your session (after your deductable is paid).  

I will provide a superbill to give to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please give me a call if you have any questions.
